2019 - Present
MugHeads
In 2019, we unveiled an exciting range of high-quality, novelty drinkware exclusively on Amazon, marking the debut of our MugHeads Drinkware brand. This move was met with such enthusiasm that by November 2023, we had combined RetailMugs.com with MugHeads.com, creating a unified shopping destination under the same trusted corporate umbrella of Effective Media, Inc.

While "Coffee Shop Promos" perfectly captured our essence, it never struck a chord with me. Acquiring RetailMugs.com back in 2011 opened a new chapter, but it wasn't until the fall of 2015 that we fully embraced our new identity. This pivot sharpened our presence in the coffee realm and ignited a steady climb in our sales.

Coffee Shop Promos
On a Saturday morning drive to a coffee shop rendezvous, I mused, "Surely a quaint shop's budget for promos must be just as petite." Yet, amidst our chat, inspiration struck. That epiphany catapulted me back to the office, where I birthed Coffee Shop Promos - the go-to source for custom-branded mugs for America's coffee nooks.
2002 - Present
Effective Media Inc
In February 2002, I traded the corporate world for entrepreneurial adventure, founding Effective Media on the iconic date of 02/22/2002. My journey began in Minneapolis in the realms of printing and mailing, but as I ventured independently, brokering print and web design became my forte. The venture took an exciting turn when a client's simple request for t-shirt printing marked the inception of our promotional products division.
