5 Reasons to Sell Travel Mugs in Your Coffee Shop |

If you’re not selling travel mugs in your coffee shop, you are missing out on extra profits and some other benefits. Here are five good reasons to start selling travel mugs today.
1. Provide Customers What They Want. Your customers are already buying travel mugs. Are they buying them from you? If not they should be. After all, there is nothing worse than filling up a competitor’s coffee mug when your customer brings it in to your shop.
2. Free Advertising. Imagine this…Your customer makes their daily stop in to your coffee shop to fill up the travel mug they bought from you. They head off to work, but before they start working they stop to say good morning to their co-workers, travel mug in-hand. They then leave that mug sitting on their desk for the rest of the day. Imagine how many times your logo is seen in the workplace of just this one customer in one day. Now multiple that by number of regular customers over the course of a year. 3. Create Loyalty. People like to support local businesses and that includes coffee shops. You can reinforce loyalty by creating a program. Some coffee shops have punch cards and offer a free drink after a certain number of purchases. Another effective program is to offer a small discount to refill their coffee mug when they bring it in.
4. Eco Friendly. People are going green. Promoting travel mugs will not change the world but it will let your customers know that you care about the environment. Plus it will save you a few bucks on disposable cups. As this demand continues to grow you will find more and more eco friendly and recycled coffee mugs on the market.
